This will be a premier event, including 2 nights at Deals Gap, followed by 2 nights in the Knoxville, TN area for the Honda Hoot. In keeping with the spirit of the “Honda Hoot”, this tour is open to ALL MAKES and models

After a big breakfast, we’ll depart from Greenville, SC at 8:00am on Wed. June 18th, taking the most twisty route available to Deals Gap (aka “the tail of the dragon). We’ll stay 2 night at beautiful Fontana Village, NC.
Days will be spent riding the best roads that North Carolina and Tennessee have to offer. Once we have checked in, you’ll have the choice of relaxing in the village, striking out on your own, exploring area roads and attractions, or staying with the group while we lead you to the most spectacular motorcycle roads in the area. Keep in mind that Knoxville, TN is only 65mi.(about 90 min) away, in case you want to get a jump on the Hoot festivites.
Evenings will include a great meal, with the night spent socializing and comparing notes from the day’s ride.

Fri morning, after breakfast, we’ll head to Knoxville, TN for the Honda Hoot and all of the motorcycling magic that will define the city and surrounding area for the weekend.
Again, you will have the choice of weather you want to attend special events on your own, or stay with the group. You may want to do a little of both. Just be sure to meet up with the group at the designated time for dinner each night.

You’ll need to go to the Honda hoot website (linked above and below) and pre-register yourself (price NOT included in the package). This is required due to the fact that you’ll have the option to sign up for various events. Some of these (like demo rides and Trials show) are free with registration, others (such as dirt track races, whitewater rafting or Dollywood events) are available at added cost, and are left up to your discretion. Registration can be done the day of the event but discounts are offered for pre-registration, and space is limited for most events, so we recommend that you pre-register as soon as possible after booking you tour. Also, when planning, keep in mind that Knoxville, TN is located about 90 minutes away from Fontana Village.

Sunday morning we will head to Gatlinburg, TN for a little more sightseeing, then through the Smoky Mountains national park to the Blue Ridge Parkway and a spectacular ride back to Greenville, SC, where we’ll say our good-byes. Everyone will take with them, memories that will last a lifetime... Or at least get you through ‘till next year’s “Hoot”.

As with all Double Yellow Motorcycle Tours, breakfast, dinner, and overnight accommodations (until we return to Greenville) are included in the cost of the tour.
